Green Ribbon Schools
Green Ribbon Schools take a comprehensive approach at helping students to become environmentally literate through a certification process that encourages and rewards model, progressive schools. To earn the certification schools must implement extensive programs that touch on their four cornerstone criterion of an Environmentally Friendly Campus, Nature Adventure, Health Fitness and Nutrition, and Natural Classrooms.
