EPA Sustainable Design and Green Building ToolKit for Local Governments
The process of designing, developing, and inhabiting the built environment has a profound influence on a community’s economy, environment, and quality of life. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has developed the Sustainable Design and Green Building Toolkit for Local Governments in order to assist local governments in identifying and removing barriers to sustainable design and green building within their permitting process.
