High Performance Building Renovation: This ground-breaking project will test how close to NetZero energy use and carbon emissions we can get in a historic building. Providing a replicable case study and demonstrating financially viable ways to make existing buildings more efficient is a critical step toward reducing the effects of climate change.
Sustainability Roundtables: Events located throughout the state, bringing together local leaders to advance sustainability. Find one near you, or support the Statewide Roundtable held each November, bringing together leaders from all regions of the state to share ideas and strategies for success.
Regional Sustainability Councils: A statewide network comprised of regional organizations focused on sustainable development in Colorado. The vision is to link sustainability efforts within and among regions throughout the state becoming the most sustainable state in the union.

Heroes of Sustainability is our annual fundraising event honoring a hero of the sustainability movement. In 2010, we honored Lester Brown, with over 200 people in attendance, and Governor Ritter presenting the award. In 2011, our Hero was Denis Hayes (founder of Earth Day), and we had a sold out event.
