
Over 200 representatives from government, business, nonprofit and education sectors attended the Statewide Sustainability Roundtable on November 4, 2010 at the University of Denver. The objectives of the 2010 Statewide Sustainability Roundtable were to:
- Inspire action to take advantage of opportunities and innovative solutions to overcome barriers;
- Build relationships across sectors to foster regional and statewide networking;
- Provide professional development information and resources;
- Share successful plans for making sustainability more permanent throughout an organization; and
- Contribute to collective action by documenting needs, best practices, and priorities to advance sustainability.

Regional Roundtables and Reports
In 2010, eight regional roundtable meetings were held to help communities move forward on collaborative, tangible, and effective opportunities to benefit people, planet, and prosperity; exchange information about sustainability resources; and enlist support for statewide sustainability efforts, such as strengthening resource efficient codes within the built environment.
