Through general sustainability education and increased awareness of important issues, the Alliance works to infuse sustainability into all decision-making. Sustainability incorporates the people, planet and profit practice into all policies and looks at long-term impacts rather than short-term returns.
The Alliance’s 2007, 2009, and 2010 regional sustainability roundtable meetings have found that sustainability is booming in Colorado, and leaders from government, nonprofit, business and education are advancing sustainability in their communities. Individuals all over Colorado are also making greener decisions to save money and help the planet!
