presenters

The Alliance participates in and offers many other initiatives as part of its Education & Outreach program.  Any activities that educate and build awareness around sustainability principles as well as increase our sustainability network throughout the state fall under the Education & Outreach program.  Some examples include:

University Collaboration

The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado works with the next generation of leaders by engaging higher education institutions to provide hands-on educational experiences.  Whether for a single tour of the Alliance Center, an Alliance presentation in the classroom, an internship, a graduate thesis, an exhibit, or a semester-long class project, the Alliance seeks out new partnerships with students.

Capacity Building Workshops

The Alliance offers a number of workshops throughout the year designed to improve performance and gain valuable skills and knowledge.

Speakers Series

The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado hosts a number of speakers each year ranging from sustainability advocates and experts to leaders who build awareness to transform ideas, behaviors, and policies.

Alliance Center Dine-a-logue Series

Alliance Center tenants and neighbors meet once a month to learn about sustainability issues.  The dine-a-logues typically take place on the third Thursday or each month from noon to 1pm.

Green Jobs Pipeline for Women

Established by the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado in 2009, the Green Jobs Pipeline for Women Coalition is now hosted and supported by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.  Please send inquiries or requests to subscribe to announcements to Diana Cordova at dcordova@cwcc.org.
