According to their website, Clean Energy Action aims to accelerate the transition from a fossil fuel-based economy to one based on clean energy and energy efficient technologies, and promote clean energy and energy efficient alternatives to fossil fuels. They also hope to reduce Colorado’s carbon emissions by retiring existing coal plants in the state, and raise awareness about global climate change and other problems related to the use of fossil fuels, particularly coal.
