A Greener Building
Green building practices strive to balance environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, occupant comfort and community sensitivity. We set high environmental standards for the 171,00 square-foot expansion of this building in pursuit of a silver level leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Our efforts to meet LEED silver standards for this facility will help mitigate the building’s effect on the environment, which is part and parcel of the Patagonia philosophy.
